Privacy

This site is run by Slightly Obsessed Studios LLC, trading as Slightly Obsessed Studios. It has no forms, no analytics, no advertising pixels and no tracking of any kind. It sets no cookies of its own. The only thing it loads from another company without being asked is a set of typefaces. There is one video on the site, and nothing reaches YouTube unless you press play on it. If you contact us, we keep what you send so that we can answer you.

What the website itself collects

Nothing directly. There is no contact form, no newsletter signup, no account, no cart and no comment section anywhere on this site. The phone number and the email address on our contact page are ordinary links that open your own phone or mail app. We never see that you tapped one.

What our web server records

Like every web server, ours writes a line to a log for each request: your IP address, the date and time, the page you asked for, the address you arrived from if there was one, and the identifying string your browser sends. We use those logs to keep the site running and to notice abuse. We do not use them to build a profile of you, and we do not combine them with anything else.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. Our cookie page sets out the detail, including cookies that other things on our domain may have left in your browser.

Typefaces are served by Google

The fonts on this site come from Google Fonts. That means your IP address and some basic browser information reach Google each time a page loads. Google sets out what it does with that in its own privacy policy. Apart from the video described below, nothing else on this site contacts a third party on its own.

The one video

The Cruiser’s Roadtrip film on the home page and on the Modesto Roadsters case study is hosted on YouTube rather than by us. We load it in a way that does nothing until you choose to watch it: what you see first is an image and a play button served from our own server. Only when you press play does your browser contact YouTube, and at that point YouTube receives your IP address and browser information and may set its own cookies, under Google’s privacy policy rather than ours. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player, which limits what it stores until you actually watch. If you never press play, YouTube never hears from you.

If you email, call or text us

We keep your message and your contact details so that we can reply, and so that we have a record of what was discussed if we end up working together. We do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask. We do not sell, rent or trade your details to anybody.

The promo store is a separate thing

Our promotional products store at promo.studioobsessed.com runs on a vendor platform rather than on ours. It has a cart, a checkout and its own cookies, and it operates under its own terms and its own privacy policy. This policy does not cover it.

Your rights in California

If you live in California you have the right to know what personal information a business holds about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information, and there is very little for us to hold. To make a request, email info@studioobsessed.com or call (209) 566-1192. We will answer within 45 days, and we will not treat you differently for asking.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the bottom of this page changes with it.
