Accessibility

We want this site to work for everyone who comes to it, including people using a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification, or a phone held one handed. We aim at WCAG 2.2 Level AA, and we would rather tell you what is still imperfect than claim it is finished.

What is in place

• Every page has one main heading and a full set of landmarks, so you can jump straight to the content.
• The keyboard order follows the page. There are no positive tab indexes anywhere on the site, no focus traps, and no scripts that steal focus.
• Focus is visible: a two pixel gold outline, offset from the element, which clears the contrast requirement against the dark ground.
• All 53 images carry alt text. None are missing it, and the descriptions were written by a person rather than generated from file names.
• If your system asks for reduced motion, the site honours it. Nothing animates.
• No video autoplays. The services reel has visible controls, and because it is silent it also carries a written description of what it shows.
• Every page reflows to a 320 pixel viewport with no sideways scrolling.

Independent verification

This site was tested by an independent reviewer against WCAG 2.2 Level AA on 6 and 7 September 2026, using automated scanning with axe-core alongside real keyboard traversal, focus checks, reflow measurement at a true 320 pixel width, and a review of every image alternative on the site. Their findings drove the work above, and we re-ran the same tests after fixing.

What we know is still open

• No screen reader pass has been done yet. Nobody has taken this site through NVDA, VoiceOver or JAWS, and automated tools do not substitute for that. It is the next thing on our list.
• The collage on the home page can be rearranged with a mouse. It carries no information, and it is hidden from assistive technology, so nothing is lost if you cannot or do not want to use it.
